We, Care Kopila Family, would like to take a minute to thank all the students that Care Kopila have been supporting, for giving their best effort in their work and study. The effort they have put into their work and study, made us realise that the effort of Care Kopila Family has not been in vain. We also would like to congratulate Sunila Maharjan, Bhagwati Lama and Nirmaya Lama for passing their respective grade with flying colours.Sunila Maharjan had completed her SLC (School Leaving Certificate)-2007 with distinction from St. Xavier School, Godhawari. She is now studying ISc(Biology) in St. Xavier campus and pursuing her aim to be a doctor. We want to wish her best of luck for her bright future.
Bhagwati Lama and Nirmaya Lama, they have done excellent in their respective grade. They are the district toppers in the Dhading District. We are proud and also expecting more out of these labour students who besides their study, are also working for their livelihood.

Care Kopila has been working on various area supporting the education of the labour child and child from the minority group. This year (2008), Care Kopila has taken an initiative to work with the tharu community from in Nawalparasi District, providing support for education of the Tharu minority. Care Kopila was formed in the winter of 2003 by a group of people who got together to think of ways in which they could play a role in getting working class children into education. The broad aim of the Care Kopila is to develop and implement a charitable program to provide funding for working children to achieve a basic education.more »..
The Beginning:
In 2003 Care Kopila started to support four children for their education. All of them were unable to go to school without this support. Our group tried to maximize resources by negotiating scholarships from the respective schools. In some cases we are fully supporting the children
Care Kopila needs your involvement. By sacrificing just some cups of coffee or making a tax-deductable contribution you will help take children from the workplace or the street to a school for the first time. Through your small contribution, a deprived child will get the chance to become a good citizen of the future. Care Kopila welcomes everyone to volunteer their time to assist with publicity and fundraising.
